What will the weather be like in Oaxaca?

September is the shoulder season in Oaxaca. Temperature highs hover at about 82°F (28°C), on average, cooling down to about 60ºF (16ºC) by night.

Afternoon showers are common and expected, though they hardly compare to the rains in Mumbai/ Seattle. Oaxaca’s annual average rainfall is just under 
30 inches per year, which is less than 
a third of the annual rainfall in Mumbai 
and roughly 10 inches fewer than in Seattle.

How do I get around Oaxaca?

El Centro Histórico, the City Centre, is super walkable and pedestrian-friendly.

All wedding events, and recommended hotels and restaurants, are within a relatively short walking distance. There should be no need for a hire car, taxi or public transportation while you're there (apart from getting you to/from the airport) or when exploring beyond the downtown area.

Do you have hotel blocks for accomodation?

We have reserved rooms in a couple of hotels in the city at special rates for our guests. You can see the codes in the accommodations section which also has other recommend other hotels in the city center.

Are children welcome?

Yes! Your children are most welcome to join us. We only ask that you let us know in advance to help us prepare for our little guests :)

Will there be vegan/vegetarian/ gluten free food options?

Yes, our menus include options for guests with preferences for vegan/ vegetarian/ gluten free foods.
